I have a couple of friends who have recently got hold of a BB 7290 each and are having trouble setting up their email. They both used to have a 8110 Pearl.
Both their emails had been working simply by doing the basic setup when switching on the device, but since doing a backup/restore process, the emails have now stopped working.
What's gone wrong and does anyone know how to sort it out?
Go to your carriers bis site (the website that you used to set up your email accounts on your BlackBerry) and on the side, there should be the words "Service Books". Click that and hit "resend service books". See if that helps.
