    Hi Guys,

I'm new to the world of blackberry. Tonight, at 2Am GMT, the british clocks go back 1 hour.

Now, I've to be up at 6am in order to get to work at 7. if i set my alarm at 6, will my blackberry automatically update the time based on DST - or do I actually need to set my Alarm for 7 to get me up at 6??

    thanks,

    Glenn.

Basically, all I've done is turn of automatic timing - and set the clock back 1 hour. I pray this works, and I'm not late.

    Glenn.

The BlackBerry knows about DST and changes automatically. You should not have a problem unless the DST date has changed recently for your area. Users in Australia were having that problem a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure what you mean by turning off automatic timing. I don't know any way to disable DST support on the BlackBerry.
