Hello,

I just started using my blackberry's GPS, my GPS was stolen out of my car a few days ago, so for the mean time i have to use this one to get around. The only problem is that it is timing out. I tried messing with the "time out/dim out" settings but it has a max limit of 2 minutes.

Is there a way to set the phone to not dim out while using GPS?

Get a third party application such as "Leave it On" and you can control the backlight timeout.

Open the GPS and select Menu/Options. There are settings for default maps, time out settings for % of battery power and several other parameters. Good luck.
