    I recently purchased the 8310 from AT&T. Trying it out but difficult to know what I have compared to other phones. Can someone quickly rate the Blackberry models in order of best to least?

    Thanks

    Mmm.. that'll be a bit hard since there's so many different models. There's a BB for every kind of personality.. whether you use it strictly socially, for business, or both.

    I have a Curve 8310 that I use for work & play & it works perfectly for me. It has a full keyboard, internet, email, & camera for fun.

    Think about what would you use your BB for mainly?

    This would differ obviously with each user. Since I'm a curve user, I would say the Curve is the best...

    ...since you just got it, I would go back to the store and play with the phones for a bit, see what you like. i like the curve because it combines functionality with entertainment. I also like a full QWERTY keyboard, which rules out the Pearl. I like to take pictures of bushes, so I need a camera as well.

    Its all up to you

    8820's a pretty cool phone. THat was my second choice of the phone, but, it did not have a camera for my picture taking of bushes.

    So, I chose the curve. If you're a Corporate user, you will most likely find the 8820's a good choice, because many Corporate Offices are restricting cameras on devices. I work at a FInancial Institution, and they don't mind the cameras...otherwise, it would have been the 8820 all the way. But otherwise, there really is no other difference, its the same OS

    I think the 8820 is more business-friendly & has about the same features as the Curve - minus the camera.

    If you go to AT&T's site they allow you to click phones to compare.

    8310 - GPS, camera & great keypad.

    8820 - GPS, WiFi & No camera.

    8120 - WiFi, camera, SureType & no GPS.

    8310 = 9/10, need WiFi also.
    8820 = 8/10 needs camera & better keypad.
    8120 = 7/10 needs GPS, screen is small.

    This is all my opinion and my preference. Go to an AT&T store and try them out.

    The 8820 gives you GPS and Wifi which is a big plus. So muy vote would be for the 8820 but the 8320 is also a great phone.

    My friend got the 8310 and I have the 8320, we realized that the 8320 has more options than the 8310 does, so now my friend wants to switch to th 8320, hehe. I always got to have the top bb there is! I had 8800 before but didn't like the keyboard, as the curve's qwerty suits me best since I type A LOT!!

    What other 'options' does an 8320 have compared to 8310 besides WIFI?

    Yeaaah, I have the 8310.. kinda curious about what options the 8320 has.. figured it was just the WiFi/GPS.

    Cheaper calls because it let's you use t-mobiles hotspot plan which you free calls over wifi(no plan minutes used). That's a real plus if you use BB as your only phone. Lastly it increases internet speed.

    Thats pretty much it. But if you want to use the 8320 on AT&T, you need to get it unlocked.

    Thats exactly why I got a 8820. GPS and Wi-fi. Getting those two things together were more important to me than a camera.

    Mmmm, I have AT&T soo I decided on the Curve - wish I had WiFi, though I don't really need it.

    Good luck picking a phone & welcome!
