Hi Folks,

I am wondering if it is possible to install the BB Desktop Software on multiple computers without messing up my corporate email (BES).

I have the BB Software installed on my work computer to setup the BES connection, but I would also like to install it on my home PC to sync my media.

I'm using a BB Storm from Telus.

I need to sync a single file to my blackberry 8830 and everytime I try to connect it to the desktop manager software, it screws up the service books for the "Desktop" profile on the device. This seems to occur because it is trying to pick up email profile information from the copy of Outlook on the particular computer to which I connect.

I'm looking for a way to turn off all functionality of Desktop Manager, so it won't even look at email settings.

If you ever find an answer, please post.

I have the same question as the OP. I want to upgrade the OS, but cant from work because I don't have admin privileges. Can I sync it at home to do the upgrade?
