    When I place a call people can hear me but I cannot hear them. Any advice?

    Have you tried Menu/Options/Phone Options/Enhanced Audio, enable auto volume, boost treble. Adjust volume w/side keys. My curve sounded a lot better after doing this. Let us know how it turns out.

    What OS version is on the device?

    There were some past versions that had this problem.
