I want to know if Blackberry is committed to keeping GPS on their devices? I have the 8830 with T-Mobile which has GPS but I know the next models coming out on T-Mobile won't have it. Is Blackberry giving up on GPS or is T-Mobile staying away from it?

    Thanks.

I don't think you can have an 8830 with T-Mobile as the 8830 is a CDMA device, and not a GSM device which is what T-Mobile uses. Perhaps you have the 8820?

The 8820 is the GPS-equipped variant of the 8800 for GSM.

Why wouldn't they be commited. It's not the matter of commitment. It would be like taking out something major. Almost all phones now come with the GPS functions in the phone. I guess BB Inc people can be really forgetful and take it out. I just don't see that happening anytime soon. it would be like taking out the ringtones for the phone.
