Its not bad. Better than some of the older "Be Bold" ads but I'd still like to see more ads showing the actual features of the phones (and the pb) I hope they center on this more when bbos 10 is released. The "ad" they showed for that at bbworld was great for showing phone features.

Agree, but it's too early for BB10 ads. Commercials like this are good filler for now and are a vast improvement over the previous train wrecks they've aired in the past.

I dont think they need to show phone features, they need to create an image as Apple has. I think this ad is a step, err LEAP, in the right direction.

But at least Apple shows the actual features of the phone. In EVERY commercial.

People know what they can do.

With Blackberry, thats not the case. Many people still think of Blackberry's as non-touch email machines with trackballs.

A lot of people ditched their OS 4/5 Blackberry's and never looked back.

RIM needs to show what the new OS 7 and 10 can actually do.

I like the ad so much, I used a youtube downloader in Firefox and downloaded the 1080p mp4 version into my PB.

I liked it and I don't think that it's too early too generate some hype that will hopefully further lead to commercials that will show the phones and what they can do. Either way, they are getting better. Some companies that I would never buy products from have great commercials and some companies I buy from have crappy commercials...it all comes down to me liking the product. McDonald's for example does a lot of advertising but I've yet to buy a burger from them that looks anything like their ads, so visual seeing a product isn't always what you get.

A good TV commercial, but RIM should come up with really good app support to get things done! It is kind of an irony when my BB can't get things done. You know what I mean.
