I have BlackBerry Q10 and want to get classic. For those who have it do you find yourself using the trackpad a lot or do you find it unnecessary?

Just started using my classic since yesterday. Don't find it a hindrance at all. Let me tell you, just go ahead and buy it. It is a great upgrade to the Q10 honestly

I also upgraded to the Classic from using the Q10 for a year..it was def worth the $$!! The screen is bigger(not including the tool belt), the screen is also more crisp, and the trackpad has actually come in handy a few times and reminded me how much I missed it! If you are looking for what the Q10 should have been, the Classic is it! Be sure to upgrade to the latest OS update when you receive it. Also no more BB Bridge! Sounds bad at first but they replaced it w/ BB Blend which is the same thing but allows you to connect your BB Phone to Android or iOS devices. It really works, cause I have my Classic connected to my Android Tablet flawlessly!
