Is there anyway I can remove and reinstall the BB Browser? I'm having problems with it not completely loading pages (freezes and locks up) then I have to close out of it completely before I can go back. Thank you in advance for your help. Make it a great night!

Have you installed another browser? I have the evolution browser installed and since then the native browser freezes, lags, won't work... For me the problem originates in downloading the evolution browser. That said, evolution is kick and, plus one can always open there whatever lands on the native browser (i.e. clicking on a link somewhere else, like in crackbery)...

I'm having the same issue on my Z10 and the fix above does not work. I have not installed any other browsers, and I have deleted any apps added until before the problem surfaced. I open the browser, it loads to about 98% then hangs. Any help greatly appreciated!

I'm having the same issues where it loads 98% then hangs. When I go to Google homepage it doesn't seem to load all the way and I'm unable to select the sign on button or any of the other buttons up top. Has anyone found a solution to this yet?

Update on my situation. Mine will load certain sites - Google will load fully for me. It seems that more complex sites are the ones that lock up. Is there any way to uninstall and re-install just the browser?

I got mine fixed with one additional step from above.......

    1. Do the steps above
    2. Hit the "Reset Search Engines " button on the bottom of that page
    3. Harlem Shuffle

    And you're good.

Wow!!! Doing "reset search engines" right after "disable and renable cookies" seems to have done the trick!!!! Many thanks Moe!

    Try this:

    Solution 1:
Many threads suggest that you simply type in www.google.com/?t
in the address bar and this somehow solves the problem. That worked for many but not for me.

    Solution 2:
Change your home page to about:blank. (open browser, click on settings - via the 3 dots at bottom right of screen, open display and actions. Then in field type in about:blank)
    Go to privacy and security.
    Clear cookies and history.
    Turn off cookies
    Close browser
Reopen browser and change the home page back to your preference.
    Clear cookies and history again
    Turn on cookies>>

I take no credit for this, which worked perfectly for me (solution 2).

Hope it works too for you all!

This won't work - try this:

    1. Shut off all network connections including Wifi.

    2. Open browser

    3. Clear cookies - clear history

    4. Reset search engines (under display and actions)

    5. Reset bb

    6. Turn on network connections and use browser

That should work - it did for me

Oh and oddly enough - when it freezes on pages other than Google - if I check the history and go to a previous page - it seems to work again without doing anything else.

Check the instructions I posted above.

And if it's only Google that freezes after following those steps - then do it again but turn off your location settings before clearing cookies, history, etc.

If someone is courageous enough to install the 10.2 leak, it would also terminate the browser issue the OP experiences instantly.
(And it would add a lot of features as well. I'm really enjoying 10.2)

Nice to know it's fixed in 10.2. Btw, with the leak - how is it with side loading apps? Is there a bigger selection of Android apps that actually work with the update?
