I work as a police officer in massachusetts and recently many of my co-workers have purchased blackberries. One of my supervisors is looking into coming up with a proposal for Blackberry and the use of BES within our department. We are looking to get the department to issue every officer a blackberry so we can all be connected. We are looking for a way to write and save incident/accident/arrest reports. Post our schedules and overtime work hours so that everyone has access to it at their fingertips. It would save the town tons of money in productivity, and just saving paper and other resources we normally would use. Does anyone have an example of a proposal or anything similar that they've had to do? If possible could you point me in the right direction?
