Anybody see the outdoor "Blackberry Benefits" - booth - in front of the RBC building this morning (downtown)? What was that about? Didn't get a chance to drop in.... Maybe it was simple as the benefits of a BB - have no clue.... was nicely seup with couches etc...

Yeah, it was on King and Bay? Just outside of the RBC Plaza building?

Didn't get the chance to go in, but they (RIM) also had a whack of posters (featuring BBM) and other stuff on poles around the downtown core.

A few weeks back RIM had a lounge set up at Simcoe Park. Pretty sweet setup as well.

I stopped by yesterday at the booth. They have signs on light posts in downtown Toronto saying blackberry is around the corner. They basically had the BB7 phones on display and the PB hooked up to a TV thru HDMI. The message seemed to be that BB is about productivity and getting things done. They were giving away gift cards and baseball tickets which you could win by joining a BBM group and scanning the QR code. I asked about BB10 timing and the rep said that a lot of people that stopped by the booth were inquiring about it too. The promo people seemed energetic and knowledgeable to me. Not a bad experience.
