While Apple Inc.�s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone may have been one of the reasons for the downfall of BlackBerry Ltd�s (NASDAQ:BBRY) products, it looks like BlackBerry is done playing on the defensive. The smartphone manufacturer is offering up to $550 to users who trade in their old iPhones and buy the latest BlackBerry Passport smartphone.

Users can take advantage of the offer, valid for both US and Canadian customers, either through the company�s online site, or through Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN). The Holiday Season offer starts December 1, and is valid for a limited time only. However, the company has not yet announced the expiration of the promotional offer.
