Any one here ever think about the crazy idea of RIM making an device with android OS or is just easier to have an android device with bbm?

In RIM's present stage they would never make a device with Android os and tbh they don't really need to. Personally having the Android market on a BlackBerry would be AMAZING but besides that im happy with BB7 & future QNX. As for an Android with BBM there was talks about that early on this year... What ever happened to that?

The app player on the playbook is the answer.

I prefer the Blackberry OS for phone calling, messaging and day to day use. But I would welcome an Android Player for those odd programs that aren't yet available for my Blackberry.

I wouldn't want it to happen on the principle: RIM, or any self-respecting company should stand on its own two feet. Now, I know they purchased QNX, and all, but I'm sure RIM will tailor the heck out of it for phones.
