sometimes i get up to my blackberry's alarm, then snooze for a few but the phone is in my hand. when the alarm goes off again, if you just move the trackball at all, the alarm stops vibrating and the alarm's sound wont's start. is there a way to change this feature?!

Look for Myalarm. it's a third party free alarm app that might fill your needs. There are also commercial offerings that are reasonably priced.
