Ran into a keep moving van here on vacation in Puerto Rico. The girl knew everything about BlackBerry 10 and even had her own Z10. It was running 10.2.1 a leak which she installed herself as she is a huge BlackBerry nut. She also was familiar with many of the rumors as she follows them closely herself. You could tell she really enjoyed working for BlackBerry. Plus she is pretty easy on the eyes also

Something tells me that isn't the official BlackBerry rep uniform either !

She could have gotten me to buy two more even though I already had one in my pocket!

I think her shirt should read Z30 instead though but both devices are nice

BlackBerry doesn't provide beta software to field employees, so she got it here on crackberry (or one of our competitors but by shear numbers 95% chance it was here). So there's a half decent chance she is a member and is going to see us drooling over her picture!

I figured they don't. Thanks for confirming.

But I would think it's less than optimal for a field person to be running a leak.

She had a demo unit, and also her own personal Z10. The demo was running 10.2 official

I'm seriously thinking about changing my username to "demo unit".

What's the chance the 10.2.1 is the beta for BlackBerry employee owned phones who are part of the rest group?

OK guys I had to remove a few posts in here.. I know we are all having fun, and yes she is a very pretty girl but some went a little too far with the innuendo. Let's keep it family friendly shall we? There's no age restriction on this forum!

Honestly this wasn't like some super high up BlackBerry staff. Mainly some attractive people hired to bring some attention to an equally attractive phone. But this girl was a true dime piece and really did enjoy BlackBerry. The rest not so much

Completely agree with you. I just wanted to share this with crackberry but if it gets too creepy then please delete this thread.

BlackBerry employees who do have access to beta releases are well ahead of anything that has leaked thus far. That said, it was never mentioned which version of 10.2.1 she was running... so, yeah....

Hey, if you're going to show it off, show it off right. Definitely a 10.2.1!!!

It's great to find a real enthusiast presenting BlackBerry product. I've met two demonstrators since BB10 hit the streets. Was really fun sharing features with them. Whomever is doing the hiring, focused on an attractive look. They both seemed to genuinely enjoy the phones, along with representing BlackBerry. Didn't quite have a grasp at staying leading edge though.

Completely agree with you on all points. The people hired were all generally very attractive and had bubbly personalities which made you really like the phone.

Very positive to see BB still has some presence. May work a lot better than costly Superbowl flops. Wonder if this initiative is the brainchild of the new marketing team?
