    Read the description VERY carefully. There are often descriptions of defects buried in the details.

    Also check the seller's feedback. I would never buy anything expensive from anyone with less than 100 feedbacks and over 99% positive, and even then I usually check to see what any negative or neutral feedback comments were about.
