I have a major issue with my email on my Blackberry 8820. I have set up my blackberry to send and receive emails from my personal Hotmail account. Sending emails is no problem, but the emails I receive, come in HTML format with all the HTML tags in them. As a result, they can be barely understood.
I called the technical support and they told me to download the software, but even that did not help.
Could somebody please help me with this? This issue has been going on for 2 months and the technical support has not helped at all despite repeated complaints.
With 4.2 and 4.3 there are 2 things you can do.
1-Purchase one of the html email viewers from the crackberry software store.
2-Upgrade your OS to 4.5.
Either of these will give you full html email.
With 4.5 go into your messages and hit the blackberry button. Select options > Email settings and change Enable HTML email to Yes, change Download images automatically to yes. This should take care of it.
With any of these solutions it will only work for future emails and not on the emails you already have on your phone.
