hi.. I have BB 8310 AT&T v.4.5.110(Platform 2.7.0.90) and I'm using it here in the Philippines for almost 5 months w/ Globe Sim card. Earlier today I saw an update for my BB 8310..(By the way, my BB phone is only a gift to me). Question is, if I'll be going to update my BB, will it be locked? or I can use again my Globe sim card?? Appreciate your answers guys .. Thank u so much!

Once a BB is unlocked, it stays that way. No OS update, no matter who it's from, is going to lock it back.

Please re-read what I posted.

But, to re-phrase, OS updates WILL NOT lock it back. Even if they are from the same carrier that the phone is branded to.
