the 8900 is one good looking phone.

you could always just go into the store and play with both of them and make your mind up that way

Is the Bold not an option? If not, I'd go with the 8900.

The Curve 8310 or Curve 8900... there is no real reason to pick the 8310 over the 8900 except for price.

Now if you are adding the Bold 9000, then we may have reasons to compare and contrast.

The 8900 has more processing power, more application memory, more RAM, better camera @ 3.2mp, wifi and gps, better screen resolution, slimmer form factor (IMO) and a lot more.

I thought of another reason... maybe you want the color RED

Is this really a question. The 8900 all the way. I have a Curve and I love it, but why would you get one when it can not do some of the things that the 8900 can. Just my 2cents

I have the 8310, which I adore, but I have to agree with everyone else: there's no reason not to buy the Curve 2 if price isn't an obstacle. That's kind of like asking "Should I buy a 2007 Toyota Camry or a 2009?"

If you don't mind paying the extra definitely pick up the 8900, handsome looking device with a lot of improvements over the 83xx series.

8900 ALL THE WAY -- for the reasons already spelled out in this thread. It's simply the superior device.

If you buy an already outdated device (the 8330) it will just be that much sooner before you want to replace it with something faster. For the long haul, and you said this was a THREE year contract, it makes more sense to spend the extra money now than to either spend a lot more later to upgrade to something newer or be frustrated and nurse the old device till you qualify for a better deal.

Ultimately it is up to you, but that's what I would do in a heartbeat.
