It's been out for Android for a long time and it's called Swiftkey.

I've used Swiftkey and it is definitely a similar concept to the BB10 keyboard, not quite the same though (not defending one or the other... I type very quickly and don't have time to waste reading words that popup that I can select - by that time I would've already typed the word and the next. Lol).

I have been a long time Swiftkey user, trust me it's the same exact thing. Words don't appear on the keys themselves and you don't swipe up to select but the prediction is a carbon copy. Predictive words appear like magic on the text field of the Swiftkey keyboard saving you key strokes. The first time I saw the BB10 demo I thought either it was a straight rip off or RIM worked in conjunction with Swiftkey for their new predictive keyboard.

I assume the link is similar to: http://www.imore.com/2012/07/04/octo...ios-jailbreak/

I think the Octopus keyboard is getting free publicity by calling itself the BB10 predictive keyboard when I imagine the actually BB10 keyboard will be a better implementation by learning tap location recognition and adjusting. Who knows, maybe I've just drank the whole tub of gatorade.
