Every video I have come across YouTube, blogs, etc don't open or talk about the Maps app. I am generally happy with it for driving directions, but wouldn't mind points of interest and the ability to get information from the Maps app itself - similar to BeMaps pro. If BlackBerry can't run Google services, I would hope they could provide a solid native Map app that integrates within bb10.

Would bolster bb10 platform and help blackberry feel more "full featured" without Google.

    Thoughts?

The last addition, which I think first appeared in 10.3 is Yelp integration with search results.

    Step in the right direction.

The current Maps app is not great. One of the simplest features that is missing is the basic ability to rotate the map. Currently North has to be up, I can't turn the map to match the way I'm actually facing. I have to physically turn my device around to make any sense of where I am, which is ridiculous.
