sorry to say i've just switched from a blackberry to another device and have come to realize that hotmail email accounts will not push to other phones. i've been reading all over this site about how and why and it seems to come down to some service through BIS. i've never really understood exactly what BIS is in the first place. here's the question. i just went to the att blackberry website to the BIS login screen. in the 2-3 years i owned a blackberry i never had an account setup through this website yet i still managed to get my hotmail account pushed to my phone. was i sidestepping something important or am i just magic?
When you setup e-mail from your blackberry, you're actually logging into the mobile version of that very same page. So... When you added your hotmail, you were on that page then
