I've been reading about BIS 2.7 coming out. I'm not 100% clear on where the BIS "sits". Does each carrier have to upgrade on their own, or do they get it automatically?

Wondering if BIS 2.7 will fix the GMAIL sync issues...

Its up to carrier to update. If you've been readong about 2.7 then you would know its just a waste of man hours on the part of RIM. It does nothing but make the bis site "prettier". What gmail sync issues?

Where if you read the email on your PC via the web, it does not get marked as read on your Blackberry. if I read it on my Blackberry, it does get marked as read if I go and look via the PC.
