hi guys. can you tell me whether google maps and wlm use the bis service or the carrier service? i'm on a vodafone bb cap and they say unlimited access for bb but even on the bb if u access through vodafone live you get charged extra. not sure if i'm making sense but i'm not too sure how to explain it...
Im on verizon and all of the data ( including google maps ) i use is through the bis service. Im not too sure about vodafone though. If anyone here is on vodaphone and knows for sure, i'd like to know for the future too!
i just wanted to make sure abt the apps cos there r 2 browsers on my bb. one is the bb browser which uses my bis and the other is the vodafonelive! browser which uses the apn on vfinternet.au so it's outside my bb data apparently (according to customer service and my bill)
