    Texting. 9900. No question.

I think this is a question you have to answer yourself
    Phones: Nokia 5110>Nokia 3360>Siemens C56>Moto RAZR>LG Chocolate>Pearl 8100>Bold 9000 > Bold 9900 > Z10 > Aristo
    Tablets: 16GB Playbook > Playbook 32GB + Playbook 16GB > ???

As for mostly texting, I'd say go with the 9900. First the keyboard is "always there", so you don't have to slide it open to reply or create a new text. Second the 9900 has noticably better hardware, a newer OS and a better screen resolution compared to that Torch. Last but not least the Bolds keyboard is larger and better than that of the Torch.

The only things the Torch IMO can score would be price(?), pure screen size, camera and custumization abilities with themes thanks to OS6. While there are also themes on OS7, they are not as advnaced or flawless due to the missing theme studio.

If you're comparing 9900 with the 9800 I would go with the 9900 hands down, but if you'd said the torch 9810, it would be a different story.

Have both 9810 (work) and 9930 for personal. Like both phones but hands down the keyboard on the 9930 is the best. I do alot of texting on both phones, 9930 ismuch quicker, more accurate and easier on the fingers.

Not one "wait for the X10" reply yet? I'm surprised .... guess I'll be the first. Wait for the X10, then throw that one into the mix and compare all three.

I'm torn because I take notes in my classes on my 9900, but I want the Z10. I might keep the 9900 no plan just for notes because of the keyboard and save the files to my media card. Then I have the keyboard and Z10.

Is it really hard to text on the torch ? i mean it can't be so hard once you get used to it.
