I am receiving lots of spam/junk/useless mails these days. I want to invest in a pretty good spam filter. please suggest me the best out there. better if the developer is taking the app to BB10.

It's built into email setup or simply mark them as spam on you computer and they'll not be delivered to your phone anymore. You don't really need an app for that.

But if you set that up on your MAC it will sync to you BB, no email in the Spam folder will be delivered to your BB. I'm telling you, you don't need an app.

I have MailMinder installed on my devive. but sometimes it misses the rule and shows the LED and popup.

I have a pretty decent anti-spam app on my MAC. but the problem with this setup is that, the mail once delivered to BB, can't be ignored, unless you read it.

It's pretty simple.
Open BerryBuzz Beta.
At the top there is "Add Contact/Rule". Click on it.
A "Select Contact Type" pop up will appear.
Scroll to the bottom and click on "Email Rule".
You can create a new name for the rule if you don't want the default "E-Mail Rule" name.
In the address field, type the email address you wish to block. (you don't need to do anything else with the other options)
Scroll down to the bottom and click the "Advanced" button.
Select the "Delete Message" check box. Then click ok.
Voila! You have created you email spam rule for that address!!!

You can also get this done quickly & directly by receiving the email, highlighting it, then pressing the menu key and selecting "Add BeBuzz Rule"

As long as you perform regular backups as you add more, there is no problem with restoration when you wipe or upgrade.

Any (good) email filtering application would have the same options.

I have it too...but only for delaying the sent message. its filtering is very limited.
