I currently using a note 3. I am a business man and i love the blackberry great for emailing and getting what i need done. 2 months ago i was using the bold 9760 for tmobile. to small i cant type out emails well im driving... my fingers are to big. so what i am asking is what is the best blackberry i can buy that is not part of the "new generation of blackberrys" fast, app friendly email friendly, gmail friendly. is it safe to go with the 9900 or is there something bigger and better?

Why not the new generation devices? The 9900 was great 4-5 years ago but it's not app friendly with current apps nor is email that great.

I m current using a passport and it's awesome for everything. You can't type while driving, nor should you, but the voice to txt is normally spot on

I am not sure where you are from, but most civilized countries have laws against "typing out emails" while driving.

If you do consider it cool and continue, I hope the only life endangered, is your own.

I think you'll like the 9900, granted the screen is still pretty small. Consider the Q10 or the Classic. They're way better than old BlackBerrys but have the same keyboard. The classic keyboard is nice and big so I think it would be great for you.

Besides from the fact you really shouldn't pound out mails while driving, the 9900 has the biggest keyboard of the legacy devices. The Q10 and Classic have bigger keys than the 9900, yet they both are from the new BB10 generation.

I do not really understand though why you are specifically searching for a legacy device. In terms of apps BB10 is better supported, also has reliable e-mail and it also fully supports calendar and contact sync out of the box, which might be helpful if you use such services.

The Q10 is cheap enough now, and the keyboard rocks...

Any double-typitis can be cured via a $10 eBay purchase and 10 minutes with a screw driver... :-)

First off all: Dont text/email while driving.

Second of all: Get a 9900. The end.

Though, the curves have clicky keyboards. You might wanna consider a curve, however they are smaller.
