Google Maps all the way.. especially if you like in NYC, as it can plan your trip via subway.. then give you CORRECT times (the mta.info site cant even do this)
BBMaps and Google Maps. I've been more amazed with Google Maps though lately. The street view on it is outstanding.

Vodafone sat nav (do a search on threads, used to be able to download even if not on vodafone)
Googlemaps (no voice turns, but the best looking + great search capability)
Amazegps (voice turns, but fine for a freebie)

I find that the YellowBook app is the best for serching for something, but google maps is better for getting you directions.
I don't know why there wasn't much of a fuss made about it considering how awesome it is, but a few weeks ago a forum member posted instructions on how to install Telenav and use it for free on the Bold.
I use it and it has completely replaced my nuvi GPS navigator. It looks far better than any one of the ones that have been named in this thread, and it even has voice dictation with a sexy british accent. I'll look for the thread again.
Oh, and even if at some point Telenav fixes the bug that allows people to use it for free, paying for it would not be a big deal. It's only like $10 a month for unlimited trips. $6 for 10 trips per month.
EDIT**
Check it out, I found the post:

You can see a demo of it here:
TeleNav Demo
AT&T Navigator, all the way!
Works well and saves me a lot of time. I even search for business using it.
Is $10 a month as well....

I would say Google Maps if you do not need turn by turn. Amaze, Nav4All are good free alternatives with turn by turn. AT&T Navigator and Garmin both get good reviews.
go with google maps, the street view feature is good
since the topic is up...how do i install googlemaps on my Bold (excuse my n00bness)? had it on my curve but was done by a friend
In your mobile browser go to ....
http://m.google.com
scroll down, underneath the "Or get our individual products" section
Pick *Maps
Hit the Download Now link on the top of the page.
Download and enjoy :)
Exactly! I was visiting nyc and I was amazed at how accurate the timing of public transportation was. And the street view makes it so easy to see where you have to go, and what your destination will look like.
The search function is great and the phone numbers that pop up as well are single click to dial. Sometimes I will use google maps to make my call even if I have the number in my phonebook!
All they need to add is turn by turn directions to make it the best app of all time (if it isn't already)!! Yay for google maps!!!
