I would vote 8700 had it been an option.

There is a Lehman Brothers Edition 8700v on Ebay UK at the moment.

I didnt know they made one.

I think considering it's time of arrival, the Bold 9000 series was perfect. I just wish it would have had a CDMA version.

My personal fav among the Berries was the 8800. That thing was a TANK, it rang loud and the vibration alert was great! I had good sound quality and it was a pure work horse! The battery lasted me 3 days and it was pretty slim for that time! It didn't have a camera, but that was fine with me. If I had one now I'd use it in a heart beat! I'm all about emails, texts, phone calls, and FB/Twitter and that little thing performed!

The next best Berry after that is the 9900.

The 9900 is my favorite BB of all time, but you're certainly right about the 8800 series line of phones...in their day, they were tough and effective. I used an 8820 extensively as a result of work and it was a great phone that concentrated on core commincation task; call quality, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, BBM, SMS, MMS, e-mail, organizer, good speakerphone, good battery, GPS, etc... I liked it a lot, but memory was certainly lacking without a micro SD card...only 64mb of flash memory as I remember.

But nothing beats my 9900 right now, I dig it! With the 9900, I'm well poistioned to wait out the arrival of a BB10 physical keyboard device.

9810 is the best blackberry ever. has a great keyboard with option of virtual keyboard. has bigger screen and auto focus camera . i think it may have better battery life then 9900. it also is cheaper. its my first blackberry. my first smartphone and i love it.

I thought hard about picking up a 9810, but opted for the 9900 instead...a good choice for me, but I'm sure that I would have been happy with the 9810 as well.
