    Got an 8800

    Normally I would use the Media Manager from the Desktop Software, but they have disabled it.

    Basically I can't import any ringtones or sounds onto the device and it's driving me mad.

    Is there a way to do it?

    Some ringtones can be downloaded OTA. Have you tried that route? Checkout Lecture 18 in the BlackBerry 101 Lecture Series, available under the BlackBerry Help tab.

    Just had a thought, is it possible to load the ringtone onto a micro sd card
    then insert the sd into the BB.

    From there could I copy the tune from the SD card to the BB internal memory?

    (I need the sd card back out the bb)

    You can try using an sd card. However, if your BES has locked out downloads, they have probably locked out the sd card as well.
