BES to BIS move - Steps?

I own my BB 8130 on Verizon. I used it with my companies BES server. I'm no longer with the company though they still have my pin in their system since I'm still getting mail from my old company email.

I have my personal email coming to the device by setting up my account at https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html/ and email is working fine. I want to sync my home desktop (Outlook 2007) with my BB. I don't need really real time calendar, address book, etc updates but I can't figure out how to push from the device to the desktop as a 1-way sync let alone a 2-way sync.

The most important thing for me is to have my contacts, my notepad items and any recurring dates I have set in the calendar on the device. I did a BB backup, just in case, but I would like to get things synced to Outlook.

What are the steps I'm missing? I've only used BES on all the BB's I've had so go easy on me if it's an obvious BIS thing.

the only way ive done it w/ users in the past was to wipe the device then delete them from BES. if there's a better way, id love to hear it.

I'm not sure if you are aware but if you click on the arrow it will give options as to which way you want the sync to go. I hope this helps.

I know how to tell it to sync but it won't do it. Seems to not want to let me do it.

try syncing your outlook to gmail, then sync gmail to your device. problem solved.
