Benefits of a 9900 over a 9360
I may have the opportunity to get a brand new 9900 at a great price. I love my 9360 but I am told the keyboard on the 9900 is much better.
Is there a big difference between the 2 phones? What could I do with the 9900 that I can't do with my 9360? - 12-06-2012, 06:39 PM #3
9900:
- Far better keyboard (I've tried both)
- HSPA+ (depending on carrier) as opposed to HSPA
- Faster processor, which is quite noticeable when you're navigating around the phone or running apps
- Better resolution and bigger screen that is touch sensitive
- Glass screen as opposed to plastic
- Menu buttons next to trackpad are easier to press (minor, but it irks me on the 9360)
As for the 9360, it's smaller which may be more to your liking. At this point, however, I'd just wait for the BB10 unveiling on January 30th before getting the 9900. Compared to the next generation of BlackBerrys, the 9900 will just seem like a side-grade to the 9360...hopefully.Blatant placeholder signature.
