I am a person that uses their phone camera alot. When I had the Style, I loved the autofocus camera and what great pics it took. I left sprint because I wasn't a fan of the monthly fees. I am currently on virgin Mobile but I am saving up for a phone and when I have enough $ I am going to switch to simple mobile. What phones have autofocus cameras?

the 9930/9900 does NOT have autofocus. btw, im sure if you go on any reputable cell phone review website like phonescoop.com, they will give you the phone specs including camera info and even a few pages of an in depth review with sample pics. a little of your own homework/legwork cant hurt.

Actually, I have done some homework and legwork. I have found that there is a torch 9810, and I think that the bold 9780, but other than that I haven't found too much info on cameras other than how many megapixels the camera has. I was hoping that some posters here would know of any others since I am having little success in discovering which phones do and do not have autofocus.

Research In Motion (Phone Scoop)

click on any BB device listed there. then scroll down to "Features" and then "Photo & Video". it will say autofocus there and the MP of the sensor. its as easy as that.

Answers simple Angel. 9900/9930 does NOT have auto focus. All the other BB's do.

My 9800 is autofocus my gfs 9810 has it too

Yea basically all except for the 9900 series.

Even my old Pearl 8100 had auto-focus. The one in my current Torch 9800 is a bit slow and half the time I still get fuzzy pictures.

Don't think the new Curve 9320 has autofocus either. The RIM website will say AF or EDOF, you want AF.

All modern curves do not have autofocus. In fact, the cameras on curves suck!

my 8900 had the BEST camera of all the BB's i ever owned. even though it was only 3.2 MP, they were sharp and always in focus and even stayed sharp when zoomed in.

i have torch 9800 and it has 5 MP auto-focus camera.. and my room mate has 9810.....
