    I have Windows 8.1 on a Samsung Ativ 500 T tablet, and BB link works fine. So can't really see a problem with the surface TBH

    My point is... if I get the Surface 2 and linked it to my BBRY via the USB port... it will open docs inside my phone as any other USB would open?

    Link will not work as the Surface 2 runs RT but you can still plug your phone in and all that.
