I have Blackberry 9900 and 9360, there is a lot of videos how to use bbm without data plan, I have data plan but i can't use it over wifi.is there any chance to use it. Im from Uzbekistan and I have no opportunity to get it work with our operators, so i have to use russian sim card and use dataplan via roaming.Please help someone.

You need some type of data plan from a carrier. You cannot use BBM without one. Either a full BIS plan or a bolt on or add on service.

there are tons of videos with working BBM with Network off, but they used to work with 8520.

The principle is the same for all Blackberries. Maybe the wifi you are connected on doesn't support that service. I have eyperienced myself that issue with some wifi. Does it work if u connect another bberry?

That is not what you asked in your original post. You asked for a way to use BBM without a Data Plan. (No, there is not. No matter what videos you saw)

Yes, BBM can be used exclusively off WiFi while your network connection is turned off. Provided you have BIS or a bolt on. As you say this is impossible, then you will not be able to use BBM.

@felberry83 - The OP doesn't have a BIS Data Plan.
