So you download the app and then you have to put your name on a list to hold your spot in line while you then wait for blackberry to get back to you as soon as possible (using blackberrys definition of time I'm sure) which will then allow you to finally use the app that you've already waited months for to use.

Priceless.

The 6 million people who pre registered will be able to use it right away., So if there 10 to 15 million downloads in the first days it make sense to control the traffic.

I think you just have to do the normal registration. They have already registered those who pre-signed and they are making sure their servers don't get swamped if the app is too popular during its initial availability.
