...But another question arises, do you think bbm music will come back? I liked it for a while but now that bbm is going cross platform and with the introduction of channels could the experience be improved?

I liked it too and honestly believe it will return in a bigger and better format if / when cross platform / BBM Channels hits critical mass.

I was a fan of the model they presented with BBM Music but a service of that nature needs users to survive - and that was arguably the weak link in the chain (especially when people exhausted their free trial). A successful cross platform BBM will deliver users in abundance so if it was to relaunch (with a few changes) I think we'd see a different outcome re its possible success.

Either way I'm really looking forward to seeing how BlackBerry plan to innovate around the concept of BBM - it's going to be an interesting next few years.
