I am getting the following error on my BB 9700 facebook applicationThe Facebook server has return an unknown error and is not able to fulfill your request, 2001". I'm also unable to log-in using mobile browser. Any idea what causing this issue?

Yeah its annoying as everything else is working but not my news feed..I am getting notifications in this has happened all day...

Looks like it is a facebook server issue if it is a 2001 error

It's the same here. The local BBM buddies have been frothing at the mouth over it. Hoping it gets resolved soon too.

I don't know if it is relevant or not, but Facebook is working normally on my BlackBerry 9900 via wi-fi, yet giving the error when on 3G/edge/GPRS on Vodafone uk.

My bold 9900 Is giving the same error.. Cannot connect to server 2001.. They really need to fix that soon.. Right now, I am relying on my iPod touch to get to Facebook! Plus, I hate typing on this thing.. I can't wait for BB10!

Odd... Mine has been working fine on my 9700. Been using it a fair amount today actually.
