Can't. It is either dark theme no channels of channels light theme. The beta does not yet support the light/dark theme.

You could only try to get an early beta version of BBM Channels. The one I am using is one of the last featuring the black theme. Otherwise you'll have to wait for the official final release of BBM Channels, which most likely won't happen before 10.2 is finally rolling out.

I am thinking and this is just my guess. They will release an official channels version after 10.2 drops and before BBM4ALL re-releases.

I could be very wrong. That is my guess

Theme selection comes with 10.2, the latest leaks of the new OS version already have this feature included, yet it doesn't work with BBM Channels.
Due to that, I doubt we'll see an official roll-out of BBM Channels before 10.2 gets an official roll-out.

That should happen sometime next month.
