    After I update to the latest version of BBM..i found that, there was birth date feature on BBM profile..unfortunately my birth date is wrong.. the bad thing I unable to do any changes of my birth date.. why is this happened and where in this world blackberry got my wrong birth date -any opinion and explanation..huhu

    Mine is correct, but I noticed that I can't see the birth dates of my contacts. I get the feeling this is showing in your profile and only you can see it.

    Have any of you showing incorrect birth dates tried logging in on the BlackBerry website and logging in there to see if you can edit it? I'm not sure if it would work, but it's worth a shot. Also, if your birthday is wrong, is it possible you entered it incorrectly when asked for it?

    The birthdate was added when BBM Channels was introduced. I believe it's probably used for some sort of content filtering. I don't think it has been incorporated into BBM's social sphere as yet.
