Have you guys had a chance to try the voice dictation on the S5? My friend and I were in a bar last week watching sports. I watched him write emails and text messages to everyone while watching tv and just talking into the phone (close to his mouth) over the bar cheering noises in the bar. He hardly had to correct anything. He says he doesn't really type anymore because he just dictates everything into his phone. I have a hard enough time voice dictating any sentences into my Z30 without errors while sitting in my car in a parking lot with the windows up (much quieter environment).

I thought that feature was pretty amazing and I felt an urge to upgrade phones. I wish our phones had voice dictation so accurate.

Improved voice dictation is part of the 10.3 update. I never use or would want to use it though unless maybe driving.

Agreed that voice dictations are pretty inaccurate. Well compared to the competition anyway.

I'm a keyboard BlackBerry user now on the z30 only because of the screen size. I would love to use voice dictation full time.

Voice dictation works pretty well in a quiet room, though.

I am now on a Q10 and getting used to a physical keyboard again and the voice dictation app has become my friend, but I find that it does not work well when I am in the car and generates allot of errors.

I am hoping they update this function on the next major OS update. Coming from IOS where the Siri app worked pretty well in the car and house, it becomes frustrating at times when your try to generate a message on the fly.

If you pause and say "Period", "Question Mark", or "Exclamation Point", it's gonna add the said punctuation mark.

Just say Period when you what one

Are you sure about that ?

I said question mark at the end of the sentence and 10.2 picked it up.

Must be the same in 10.3!
