BB10 feature "BlackBerry Line"?

I posted this on the end of the launch events thread but no one noticed, then I thought if it's a new feature maybe it deserves a thread if this really is a new feature - I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but I could have missed it.

"The official press / bloggers invites were sent today titles the Blackberry experience with the tag-line*Re-designed. Re-engineered. Re-invented .The official hours mentioned is 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm which seems to be a in depth launch but there is no official word on it yet.I had a*sneak*peek of the Blackberry 10 alpha device and was fairly impressed with the new device the only question remains why has Blackberry taken so long to build a new smartphone . Some of the features included*BlackBerry line, *BlackBerry Hub, the new messaging and events center; BlackBerry Keyboard, a faster and more accurate typing delivery system; and BlackBerry Balance, the work/play separation organizer etc .No details were given regarding the technical specification of the phone . Lets wait till Jan 30th for more details .Dubai to be the first city to witness Blackberry 10 launch.,"

Some of the new features include BlackBerry Line

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, anyone any ideas?

I didn't "miss" it in your post on the launch event; you went to some effort to point it out.

In terms of discussion, though, this is something completely new and I doubt many of us have any idea what it is. Need more details.

It does indeed sound like a messaging feature of some sort, but we can only speculate on exactly what it is until the launch. Just 24 days to go!

There's been speculation that RIM has purchased Gokiva. Perhaps they've purchased LINE as well?

That would make lots of sense. "Link" being the new desktop software.

Could be spelling correction, but I just took another look at that paragraph and whoever wrote it put sneak in asterisks, and then BlackBerry link in asterisks too,
