I have a BB 9900 which will no longer power up. Here is what I've tried:

1. Replace charger
2. Replace battery with a known good and charged battery
3. plug phone into charger without battery - no lights were present.

This phone has never:

1. Seen any water or moisture, to the best of my knowledge
2. Been dropped, to the best of my knowledge

I cant get the BB to respond at all. I need to get some notes that were not backed up off the BB. I'm wondering if there is some way to test the motherboard with a multimeter to find a failure point on the board or possibly eliminate the board completely as the cause of this issue. I'm pretty familiar with phones in general and somewhat with multimeters but I've never attempted to test the mainboard of a blackberry. I'm hoping someone out there has some experience with troubleshooting BB mainboards or even some suggestions as to why my phone will not power up.
