Hello everyone.
Today I have been receiving broadcast messages on bbm from friend telling that there's a picture called "widem" that is supposedly a virus that erases your BB OS and blocks it.
This is the second message I receive telling me there is a virus that erases your BB OS, the first time it was a voice note called "butterfly".

From what I have read in this forums is that virus for BB doesn't exist.

Do you people think this is true?

obviously I wont be accepting things I don't know what they are.
But that thing got me thinking because people think is true and every time you send something people ask is it a virus?

Yes but that's not the same as a virus.

Isn't this why RIM uses java for the os? To prevent viruses?
