Has anyone ever found a way of sending the trackball information to a PC via bluetooth so you can use the trackball to control the cursor on a pc? It would be a neat way round the need for a wireless mouse for presentations etc. Any ideas? ben

agreed, that would be cool, i think it may be one of the options in the BT services of the phone, but implementation is something all together different.

Not using BT but the VNC software could be a way to do this.

Install the VNC server on the computer you are giving the presentation on. Then download the VNC viewer for BB.

All of a sudden you can control your PC from your BB.

This then gives you the ability to control your slides remote.

    Solve the problem?

Search for Real VNC, or Tiny VNC, and you'll find it.

hey guys, have a look at the software from Vectir - IR and Bluetooth Remote Control of PC Media Players

It already works quite well for the normal Windows Media Player and - I had a little email-chat with the developer - he might actually do an application profile for the Media Center (arrow keys + Enter + Backspace).

Of course that's not enough for those of you who want to emulate the whole mouse thing, but for me and those who just want to control the Windows Media Center it should be good enough =)
