hey guys i wanted to kno...........i bought a bb recently and when it arrived it was asking me for a MEP code. i dint kno what it was so i took out the battery. i took it to a friend and behold it was totally locked to at&t. i told him i saw enter MEP and it stated 2 tries. he told me that it has 10 but apparently during shipping someone tampered with it and since the battery came out it registered like 2 tries. i was wondering if there is a way to still unlock the phone? cause i really like this one. thanx

Bring your torch to a cellphone store like a repair store, and most likely they can unlock it for you provided you give them payment

i did and they said that they wouldnt suggest it because it'll cost too much.($950TT roughly about $150US). to be honest they looked and sounded as lost as i was. maybe cause they didnt wanna go thru all the work.
