I got a bb curve 3g,But didnt by it officially from o2 so i put the sim in and everything works fine but the pin and i dont know how to release it myself without the hassle of phoning o2

I have no idea what you are talking about to help you... Sorry, Can you explain yourself a bit better.

The only person that can release the PIN is the original owner. Try calling them and getting them to phone the service provider if you can.

That's how it is here anyways, I'd assume it's the same for there

If its an O2 phone originally you could call them to get it released if you can't get a hold of the person you bought it from.

It just baffles me that people don't release pins when they sell their phone. Its like fraud almost cuz you can't fully use the item you purchased.
