BB as a modem

I was reading somewhere that I could use my BB as a modem on my latop?
I have the BB 8130pearl. Help?

ya i beleive you can but from my understanding you have to use a tethering cord and and you have to buy VZW connection manager which is a program sold at VZW that allows your computer to connect to the internet using your phones dataplan...
