Hi all,


Just wanted to know if there was any option in bb messenger to go offline ie like you can in windows messenger or is it an always on type of messenger...I guess the only other option is to turn the phone off but don't really want to do that...so is it possible?

You can set your Status to unavailable. Most people will not
message you when they see this. If someone does, the messages
will still come through but you will get no notification for it.

Other than that no you can't go offline. It is an always on type
of program.

With the bold you have a few extra options on bbm for showing unavailable. In a meeting etc....

Ahh ok thanks guys...I thought there wasn't that option ie to go offline...guess ill just have to use the unavailable option...
